Who Is Peregrine Pearson? All About the British Aristocrat Spotted Kissing Sophie Turner

After her split with Joe Jonas, Sophie Turner seems to be moving on with the British aristocrat.

The Game of Thrones the actress was seen kissing Peregrine “Perry” Pearson in Paris in October 2023 — two months after Jonas filed for divorce. Pearson was identified by multiple media outlets, including The Sun, which first broke the news.

In January 2024, Pearson appeared on Turner’s Instagram account when she posted photos from a ski trip where they were joined by friends Rupert Gorst and Amadea Kimmins, including one showing the sizzling pair sitting next to each other on a ski lift.

Shortly before hooking up with Turner, Pearson split from his girlfriend of two years, Princess Marie-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, in September 2023.

He is a British aristocrat

Pearson’s full name is the Hon Peregrine John Dickinson Pearson (although his name is Perry) and he is the heir to the Cowdray estate in West Sussex, Britain. When Pearson inherits the house, he will become the 5th Viscount Cowdray.

While in the past the estates were used as grand family homes and displays of wealth, Pearson spoke of his family’s aim to turn their property into more businesses. Because of this, Cowdray Estate is best known for its polo club, although it also has a farm shop, café, golf club, cottages and much more.

“Traditionally, estates were run as vacation homes,” Pearson said The Gentleman’s Journal. “Someone became very successful, bought a house and then used it as a way to do whatever they wanted – polo, shooting, fishing – without actually having to pay.”

Pearson, who helped devise business innovations for the home and leads its 200 full-time employees, plans to one day leave it to his children, he told the outlet.

“But the dream is to pass it on to your son or daughter in a better shape than it is now. That’s the mentality when it comes to estates,” he said. “You are so grateful to have been given this opportunity, you want others to have the same opportunity you had.”

He is the director of a real estate development company

After earning a degree in business, management and marketing from the University of West London, Pearson started working as a director at Cowdray Estate in 2016, according to his LinkedIn. However, in 2019 he took on the additional role of director of Weetman Developments.

The property development company focuses on rentals that “provide a convenient alternative to those properties located in more expensive central locations.”

He previously dated Greek royalty

Pearson was previously in a relationship with Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, goddaughter of King Charles. The princess said The Telegraph that the couple started dating in 2020, and Olympia often posted pictures of the two together on her Instagram.

However, fans were quick to notice when Pearson was absent from Olympia’s birthday party in July, and just two months later, Daily mail reported that they had officially split. Olympia also deleted all photos with her ex from her Instagram.

He does not play polo, despite the family passion

Polo is Cowdray Estate’s most popular attraction as several hundred thousand visitors, including the occasional member of the royal family, flock to the grounds every summer to attend matches.

“Polo is what people see and it’s the face of the company,” Pearson said The Gentleman’s Journal.

However, Pearson admitted that he is no expert himself – but he is learning.

“I have lessons, I grew up riding and in the next few years it’s something I see myself doing a lot more,” he told Telegraph in 2018

He and Turner were first seen together in October 2023

After her split from Joe Jonas in September 2023, Turner became romantically involved with Pearson.

They were first seen together at the end of October when they attended the final of the Rugby World Cup in Paris. According to Sun, the two were seen talking, kissing and “laughing a lot” outside the Gare du Nord train station.

In December 2023, Turner and Pearson were photographed holding hands while walking in London. On the way out, they shared a kiss.

Pearson kept his personal life a secret from the public eye, rarely giving interviews and sharing his life with the world. While his Instagram is private, Turner is one of his just over 1,000 followers.
