Chef Robbie Jester owns and operates an Italian restaurant in Delaware.
Chef Robbie Jester began working at his family’s restaurant when he was 12 years old. After high school, he completed his schooling and graduated with honors from the Culinary Institute of America. He then worked at well-known restaurants in his hometown before returning to his family’s restaurant as Chef de Cuisine or Head Chef.
Chef Robbie began as a sous chef at Toscana Kitchen and Bar (Dan Butler’s flagship restaurant) in 2008 and quickly rose to Executive Chef. While working at Toscana, he oversaw the development of Toscana Kitchen and Bar into Piccolina Toscana. He also worked at Toscana To Go and Toscana Catering. Chef Jester has been featured in Delaware Today Magazine, Brandywine Signature Magazine, Out and About, and the News Journal, in addition to being selected Best Chef Upstate Delaware in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Robbie was named a Rising Star by the Delaware Restaurant Association and one of the top 40 leaders under 40 by the Delaware Business Times. When it comes to culinary reality TV series, Robbie Jester is a household name. Chef Robbie appeared on Guy’s Grocery Games on the Food Network in November 2015. He lost the first time he appeared in the competition, but he won the crown after being summoned back in a redemption episode in 2016. In addition, he beat chef Bobby Flay on his program. Bobby Flay was defeated by his amazing Shrimp Scampi recipe.
Robbie was a partner and cook at Great Big Jerk, a ghost restaurant serving authentic street Jerk chicken. He also worked as a chef and a partner at Full Circle Food, a weekly meal delivery business in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. He presently owns and operates Pizzeria Mariana, an Italian restaurant in Newark, Delaware.
Robbie Jester is gearing ready to demonstrate his culinary talents and cooking abilities on Netflix’s forthcoming program Pressure Cooker. Pressure Cooker is a one-of-a-kind culinary reality program in which 11 professional chefs compete. They will have to not only create wonderful dishes and demonstrate their finest talents, but they will also have to assess each other since there will be no famous chefs to do so.
Furthermore, rather than a standard presenter, as with any other reality program, Pressure Cooker will have a ticket printer that will tell competitors about the jobs and provide them with further instructions. The candidates will be responsible for both cooking their best and making contacts in order to remain on the program. The series will premiere on Netflix on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 3:01 a.m. ET.
