After more than a year of dating, the couple announced that they are separating in February 2024.

“We wanted to share that we’ve decided to go our separate ways, but we deeply appreciate all the time we spent together and wish each other the best in the future,” Irwin and Buckey said in a joint statement on Instagram.

The son of the late Steve Irwin, Buckley was first linked in November 2022, and their relationship went public in July 2023. During their time together, they traveled across continents together, and Buckey worked with Irwin at the Australia Zoo, which his family owns. .

Not only does Buckey have a twin sister, Scarlett, but the two are identical! However, unlike Buckey, Scarlett is not in the public eye. Her Instagram account is private, although her bio says she is a pharmacy student.

The twins inspired their mom to write a book called The magic of twins in 2013, which told the story of how a pair of siblings used their powers to get them out of trouble.
