The Repair Shop: A Biography of Lucia Scalisi

Lucia has worked with the likes of Will Kirk and Suzie Fletcher since 2017, lending her expert knowledge and skills to restore any paintings that come Repair shop.

Prior to working as a conservator on the BBC show, Lucia worked as a lecturer at the Academy of Conservation in Tbilisi, Georgia, as well as a lecturer in conservation studies at London’s City & Guilds.

After graduating from the University of Sheffield, Lucia began working at the prestigious V&A Museum in 1984, specializing in art conservation.

She then began her career within academia before appearing on the BBC Repair shop 2017, but she is no stranger to TV. Lucia has previously offered her skills and expertise in painting and art to the BBC Two programme Restoration Roadshow back in 2011

Is Lucia Scalisi from The Repair Shop Married?

Lucia tries to keep her private life out of the spotlight, so very little is known about her relationship status. However, he keeps his Instagram followers up to date with his latest projects and also shares photos from them Repair shop stable.

In August, Lucia revealed the pundits were reminiscing about when the show first started in 2017 and shared some snaps from their early days in the barn.

“Today we were reminiscing a bit and remembered two photos taken by @brenton_west in his first year in 2017. @therepairshoptv Brenton was working on a beautiful camera on a glass plate tripod which – if I remember correctly – arrived in a box in hundreds of pieces “, she wrote in the description. “The first photos he took were these first two, developed in what is now Dom’s workshop.
