Career
Héctor and Tito released their first album in 1998. They became reggaeton superstars after releasing several successful albums and appearing on numerous compilations. They soon became one of the most sought-after duos in the genre. Both became the first reggaeton acts to sell out a major show in Puerto Rico, paving the way for TegoCalderón, Daddy Yankee and other acts to follow.
Tito and his partner had several hit songs in Puerto Rico, including Amor de Colegio, Felina, BailaMorena and No Le Temas an Él, which helped them gain popularity with the Trebol clan. They broke up after years of working together, but not before the release of Season Finale, the last album that included some of their biggest hits.
After a long wait, his debut solo album Top of the Line was released. The album was a huge hit in Puerto Rico, debuting at number one on the island’s music charts. Top of the Line features 20 new songs written by artists such as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar and Beenie Man. Top of the Line/El Internacional, Tito’s debut album, is available as a limited edition with five bonus new tracks. Siente El Boom (Remix), the first song from the album, is extremely popular in Argentina. Randy appears on the remix for Top of the Line: El Internacional, along with his collaborator Jowell and De La Ghetto.
Siente El Boom became a Latin American hit, peaking at number 14 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart. El Bambino’s second album, It’s My Time, was released on October 2, 2007. Solo Dime que S, the debut single, received a lot of radio play. It’s My Time features musicians such as RKM & Ken-Y, Pharrell, Toby Love and Jadiel. El Patrón is Tito El Bambino’s third solo album. The successful single VamosPa’l Agua was released before the CD to give fans a taste of what was to come, but was eventually dropped. The CD features Zion y Lennox and Plan B, two of his fellow reggaeton artists.
The two chart-topping singles from the album were El Amor and Under, both of which had superb visual effects. El Amor has been remixed four times by YolanditaMonge, Jenni Rivera, Chiky Flow and La India, among others. In February 2011, Tito El Bambino’s record label, Fire Music, hired producer duo GrüvStar to create an official dance remix of Llueva’s El Amor in support of the single during a mix show on Latin Urban radio stations.
