Has Rage Against the Machine reunited?

The famous rock group Rage Against the Machine broke up in 2000 due to internal disagreements and a faulty decision-making process. Lead singer Zack de la Rocha decided to leave the group because he felt that their political and artistic principles were compromised by the group’s decision-making process, which no longer suited their goals as a group. With de la Rocha’s resignation serving as a catalyst, this decision officially ended Rage Against the Machine. Guitarist Tom Morello provided insight into the band’s problems, explaining how constant arguments stem from disagreements over almost anything, including trivial things like the color of their shirts.

The internal conflicts proved too much for the politically charged character of the band, and after de la Rocha’s departure, the surviving members embarked on a new musical venture as Audioslave. At Coachella 2007, Rage Against the Machine held their first reunion. This performance was the beginning of a series of tours that will last until 2011. The second reunion was scheduled for the spring of 2020, but the epidemic of COVID-19 forced a postponement. Their much-anticipated second reunion finally came to life in July 2022, but was cut short when de la Rocha injured her Achilles tendon during a performance. As a result, the remaining tour dates have been postponed indefinitely.
