Why Lisa Rinna Left The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: Read Her Resignation Letter

Speculations surrounding Lisa Rinna’s exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is fixed once and for all.

In a sneak peek of the Bravo show’s upcoming 13th season, fans were given more details about the 60-year-old mainstay’s departure from the reality series.

In the teaser, Erika Jayne opened up about her anxieties about seeing the other housemates for the first time since last season’s explosive reunion. When she arrived at the Dorit Klemsley spiritual retreat, she told the cameras, “I came to the retreat feeling two things. First, I knew then that I was evil. Second, I was also protecting myself and had to stand up for myself.”

“So I’m entering as a man on my own island,” Erika added. “My friend is gone.”

In January, PEOPLE confirmed that Lisa would be leaving the beloved franchise after eight seasons of delivering sassy lines, drama-filled moments and social media mayhem.

“This is the longest job I’ve held in my 35-year career, and I’m grateful to everyone at Bravo and everyone involved with the show,” the Bravolebrity wrote in a statement. “It’s been a fun eight years and I’m excited for what’s to come!”
