Why Michelle Monaghan Was 'Worried' About Going Blonde for The White Lotus (Exclusive)

Michelle Monaghan opens about blonde for White lotus – And the main features that were supposed to maintain her glam look.

Talking to people for her brand new partnership with u beauty, actress, 48, she discovered that it was actually a nervous transition from her naturally dark brunette look to glamorous blondes when White lotus Creator Mike White asked her to do so.

“I’m a dark brunette. And I knew Mike really wanted me to be a blonde. And I was like,” Of course I’ll do everything you want. “But I was worried because I knew I would have to go back to the Britnet for the movie after that.

Fortunately, Monaghan revealed that the famous Colorist Tracey Cunningham was several trips to Thailand, as the Anthology series was filmed to maintain Monaghan’s color throughout the production.

“I don’t know what to do there,” Cunningham says. “… We were really grateful because my hair was actually, despite being treated that way, maintained my health. And then when I had to go brunette, I got back. I got back back. [to brown] And it’s still very healthy. ”

In the third season of the hit HBO series, Monaghan plays a TV star named Jaclyn on the excursion of girls with her longtime friends Leslie Bibb and Carrie Coon in the fictional White Lotus resort in Thailand – and the actress jokes about “very Jaclyn” to get stylistics from us.

“It was so fun to be Jaclyn, because Jaclyn is such a deviation from me especially in terms of appearance. She likes makeup, loves pink complexion, loves blond hair. It’s done. She’s doing herself. And so she was just a very fun role.”

According to the actress, the Hair Hair Department was also responsible for the blond locks to give her a life that made him really look like he was on a tropical vacation.

“We decided early in the first few days [that] There would be the first few episodes to really try his hair, “Monaghan reveals, giving some insight into her character.” So, the hair is the most appropriate, I think it wears it and it is kind of voluminous and things. And then we decided when it starts to get bored a little in the detox, it just begins to swing that natural texture. ”

Monaghan is honest because of the intense beauty routine that has become glamorous like a TV star like a fictional Jaclyn May. In an interview with people at a recent event in New York, who celebrated her as the beauty of the first brand ambassador, she revealed that she was just independent.

“I dedicated myself to that every Sunday,” he tells people. “So everyone loves:” We’ll go down to the beach and swim. “And I said,” I can’t do it. “Instead, I put self -wreaths and waited to dry for six or seven hours because it was so moist.”

“And she became this one in the course of a joke they just knew. They are like, ‘Oh, don’t try to ask Michelle. She does her tan, “she continues, joking that it was another way to help her get into character.” But once I put that tan that complexion and then that blond hair and I felt like I was inhabiting a very specific character, “she adds.” And then she wore a very bright pink coral-y nail polish that we would have to work once a week or two. ”
