At the time, Emonn spoke openly about his health and mobile problems, and Ruth took care of him at home, including getting up in the early hours to help him prepare for a job with GB News Breakfast TV show.

Ruth has started her TV career on South West television at Plymouth, England, working as a continuity announcer and Newscaster.
