Sunday always brings the final Wordle puzzle of the week, and this one shouldn’t be too difficult for most players to solve. Despite the lack of social media posts recently, solving the daily Wordle has become a staple in many people’s days since its conception in late 2020. The initial excitement from the game may have worn off but so many are still playing and enjoying this simple word-guessing game.
Begining with a starting word, Wordle uses colored boxes to give hints about a 5 letter word that players need to guess. Each box represents the letter either being in the correct answer, being correct but in the wrong place, or not correct at all. Players then have six chances to solve the word-of-the-day and the game will keep track of their stats day to day.
Today’s Wordle Hints (January 29th #589)

Today’s Wordle Answer (January 29th #589)
The January 29th Wordle answer is FISHY.
For our starting Wordle word we used IRATE which only supplied one incorrectly placed letter and a slew of wrong ones. Moving the ‘I’ a bit we tried LINGO as court second attempt, this only added to the incorrect pool of letters but did lock in the vowel. Our third attempt had us trying MICKY which provided the correct location for ‘Y’ and even more incorrect letters.
We took a while before formulating the fourth guess which was DISHY and that locked in a lot of letters. This easily led us to a victory and a Wordle win-in-five with FISHY.
