World Cup 2023 Points Table Today: India and New Zealand clashed in the 21st match of the World Cup 2023 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.

Tom Latham left the toss to represent New Zealand in the absence of Kane Williamson. India won the toss and captain Rohit Sharma chose to bat first.

New Zealand struggled to get going after losing Will Young and Devon Conway early. However, Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra managed to put together a brilliant partnership. Mitchell scored a hundred (130 off 127 balls).

New Zealand posted a total of 273 on the scoreboard in 50 overs.

India started explosively again thanks to Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. However, India were eventually reduced to 191/5 after Suryakumar Yadav was run out. But Virat Kohli delivered another masterful performance and proved why he is called the master of the chase in modern cricket.

Kohli made 95 runs in 104 balls but was dismissed by Matt Henry. India still managed to beat New Zealand in a tight game. Ravindra Jadeja ended the match in style with a four.

India beat New Zealand by 4 wickets to move to number 1 in the points table.
