WWE Star Seth Rollins Says Bray Wyatt’s Spirit ‘Grabbed’ Him to Make Ringside Tribute (Exclusive)

Seth Rollins is still mourning the death of WWE star Bray Wyatt.

In an exclusive clip from an upcoming episode of Mythical Kitchen’s Last mealsRollins says Wyatt’s death in August at age 36 “still doesn’t feel real sometimes.”

“Our little world that we live in is so small in so many ways that we really feel like family a lot of the time,” the 37-year-old WWE superstar tells Mythical Chef Josh Scherer.

He continues, “And Windham [Rotunda, Wyatt’s real name] is someone whom I loved and with whom I worked closely for many years. We went into business together and I was very close to him and it was such a shock that he passed away and gone, it still doesn’t feel real sometimes.”

The WWE Superstar shares it, though it’s a big part Smackdown crew was able to “breathe that collective sigh” after Wyatt’s death, Rollins needed a little more time to process the death of his late colleague.

“I had friends in the business who had passed, and it was shit, and I remember wanting to do something for him in the ring,” he says.

It wasn’t until Wyatt’s spirit “possessed” Rollins that he was moved to honor the wrestler with a moving tribute.

“I did much more than I expected,” he says. “I showed up in his spider thing, I ended up in a corner upside down, I even gave him a mandibular claw that he kept shoving down my throat.”

Rollins adds, “It was a very cathartic experience for me, the beginning of the grieving process of letting it all out. I talked to the audience afterwards and then I cried a lot like you did, and it was crazy. It still doesn’t feel quite real to me.”

WWE first confirmed Wyatt’s death in an official statement in August.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that the wrestler died of a heart attack in his sleep and had been seeing a doctor for a heart problem the day he died.

Wyatt leaves behind fiancee Joseann Offerman, known as “JoJo” during his time in WWE. They had two children, while Wyatt had two more children from his previous marriage to Samantha Rotunda.
