Yash Dhull is an Indian cricketer who plays for India at the Under-19 level. Primarily a right-handed batsman, he has also represented Delhi in the Under-16 and Under-19 tournaments.

Yash Dhull was born in Delhi on Monday, November 11, 2002 (age 19 years 2021). His zodiac sign is Scorpio. He started his cricketing journey at the age of six. One day he went to a nearby pitch to play cricket with the senior boys. He urged them that he wanted to join, but they refused. His mother witnessed the entire scene and later admitted him to the Balbhavan Cricket Academy in Dwarka (Delhi). He then played a few games for Delhi and was soon selected for the India U-19 team. His first cricket award was a cash of Rs 500 in the Under-16 Rajesh Peter Memorial Tournament when he scored an unbeaten 40 runs. In an interview, talking about the price, he said:
“I was much younger than the other boys and topped the competition and at the end of the competition I received my first cash prize of Rs 500.”

His promotion to captain of the Indian team was due to his performance in the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy 2018-19, when he scored an unbeaten 185 against Punjab. In that match, under his captaincy, Delhi reached the knockout stages for the first time in eight years. Additionally, he has captained the Delhi U-16, U-19 and India ‘A’ U-19 teams. But with the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the country, Yash had to stay at home, just days before heading to the National Cricket Academy. In October 2021, he became the leading run-scorer in the 2021-22 Vinoo Mankad Trophy, scoring 302 runs in five games for DDCA at an impressive average of 75.50.

- He has great support from his family. His father was an executive with a cosmetics brand in Delhi but had to give up his job to pursue his son’s cricket career. His father said in an interview,
“I had to make sure he had the best jerseys and equipment from a young age. I gave him the best English bats. He didn’t just have one bat, I was constantly upgrading them. We cut expenses. My dad was a A soldier. The pension he received went to support his family. Ash always wondered how we managed it.”

- He always wanted to be a medium-pace bowler but on the advice of Barbhawan Cricket Academy coach Pradeep Kochhar, he switched to batting. Speaking about his coach, he said:
“It was because of his guidance that I was able to captain the India U-19 team because of my better batting.”
- Talking about his abilities, his coach Pradeep Kochhar said:
“What stood out most was Durr’s touch on the ball. As the years passed, Kochar noticed a quality that could not be taught. He did not let pressure get to him. He was sensible, calm, and had good emotional control. Just It is this nature that makes him special. Young people these days find it difficult to cope with the pressure of expectations.”
