Yogesh Jadhav has been inseparable from martial arts since he started taking karate classes as a child. Yogesh said in an interview that his interest in martial arts stemmed from his uncle, a professional wrestler who had participated in many wrestling tournaments in Maharashtra and won several honours. In 2011, after completing his studies in Solapur, Yogesh Jadhav moved to Pune to pursue a career in MMA. After turning 18 in 2013, Yogesh Jadhav started working as a bouncer in several clubs and bars in Pune. In 2015, he participated in the National MMA Championship and won the gold medal.
