If you peek into the main house, you’ll spot Waffle perched on the left side of the sofa in the center window.

Emma Spike took this photo of her five-year-old Shitzu.

“Waffle auditioning for 20/20,” she wrote when she shared the picture in a group chat dedicated to the lives of our furry friends.

Even before he starred in The US Sun, Waffle was already a local celebrity in his suburb outside of Chicago.

“One time he left the house and really disappeared for 5 p.m.,” Emma said. “We had a huge neighborhood search and put up posters and posted all over the internet.”

While her family still wonders what he did and where he went, she said.

“He is now famous in the area and when we go for a walk everyone asks if this is the famous Waffle.”

If you could locate a five-year-old Shitzu within 15 seconds, you could have 20/20 vision.
