You have 20/20 vision if you can spot the squirrel in 10 seconds before the beagle does

YOU will need 20/20 vision to spot a squirrel in this nature before the beagle catches a whiff of its scent.

To increase the difficulty, you only have ten seconds to do it. If you succeed, you deserve a medal, because it is very complicated.

It’s an incredibly short amount of time, but it can be accomplished if you have eagle eyes and keen vision, or a well-honed beagle nose.

“Wait till he sees the squirrel,” was the caption to Rupert’s video.

Rupert is the beagle (@rupertthebeagle) with his TikTok account.

Described as “cute but psycho”, Rupert has proven popular with over 33,000 followers and a further 565,000 likes.

His tendency, as is typical of his breed, is to run when he detects a scent, and that was the case in this post as well.

“It’s just the dog’s chase instinct,” Rupert’s owner said. “The reality is walking a beagle off leash. If you know, you know. Rupert is still working on it,” he concluded.

But spotting a pesky squirrel might be a long shot for some viewers, as this bushy-tailed creature is hard to spot.

The task should have been made even more difficult by the allowed time scale of only ten seconds.

Ten minutes might be a much more realistic search time for many.

In the morning light Rupert was unleashed and took a good sniff. But he suddenly he was startled: he saw a squirrel, but is it you?

For those who have seen a squirrel within the allotted time, this means they have excellent eyesight.

But if you still haven’t figured out where it is, don’t worry. We make it easy for you and mark with a circle where it is in the image below.

However, the commenters for this challenge were more interested in the beagle on a leash than spotting any prey.

“Paseo and beagle do not exist in the same sentence”, was the experienced opinion of one.

“Yeah, a daily occurrence right now,” said another.

The latest commenter acknowledged the breed’s tendencies: “Typical Beagle,” he said.
