ALTHOUGH New York may be considered the polar opposite of nature, many wildlife still call these five boroughs home.
This includes two birds hidden in this optical illusion of an urban cityscape.

The image shows a picturesque dogwood tree in bloom at the corner of 120th Street and Broadway in Manhattan’s Morningside Heights neighborhood.
The factory is located in front of a magnificent old brick building with ornate stone cornices.
The structure houses the Gottesman Libraries, which serve the nearby Teachers College at Columbia University.
Many viewers would probably look at the tree first, as it is often a prime location for birds looking to build a nest.
But they should think again.
There are no birds in the plant or in the bright blue sky above.
The pigeons actually sit on the cornice of the building.
They can be seen immediately to the right of the name “Pestalozzi”, which is carved into the building.
The name probably refers to Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, a Swiss thinker and educational reformer of the 18th and 19th centuries.
He championed the education of the poor and created many concepts that remain the foundation of modern elementary education, according to Britannica.
This is far from the only animal-themed optical illusion that people can use to test their eyesight.
A cat is hiding in this unassuming picture of a trash can near someone’s home.
Another cat has managed to camouflage itself in this pile of logs in the middle of a picturesque forest.
Those looking for another challenge should try to locate the frog hidden in this leafy green landscape.
There’s another furry pet hiding in this mind-bending optical illusion of a suburban landscape.
But this one might be even more challenging than the others.
Only those with 20/20 vision can spot the three cartoon pigs not wearing a birthday hat in this picture.
