Optical illusions are taking the world by storm, and one in particular is confusing viewers because of the word hidden in the image.
In the video, the optical illusion enthusiast, known as @pasillusion on TikTok, shares an image with viewers that “isn’t what you think it is.”
Social user content is known for complex puzzles and everyday optical illusions.
The video begins with a TikTok user visually explaining an optical illusion, a black and white drawing of a man’s face, as it appears above him on screen.
“This image is not what you think it is,” he says.
He adds that while the art may look like a normal face, there is actually a four-letter word hidden within the design.
“To find it, try turning the phone to the left and you should be able to adjust it,” he says.

The cursive letter ‘L’ forms the eyes and the nostrils on the nose come out as a lower case ‘i’ while the ‘a’ is formed by the lips and the ‘r’ is actually the neck of the person in the black and white image.
The four-letter word hidden in the image is Liar.
The creativity in the artwork is unmatched in this optical illusion.
The comment section of the video broke down, with many saying they couldn’t find it, some saying they saw the word ‘lian’, and others saying they saw it right away.
