Yesterday, Yolanda Bogert (42) shared a photo of the George finch on social media and confused hundreds of users who were confused about its location.

After posting the photo on The Crap Bird Photography Facebook page with the caption “discover the finch”.

The mother-of-two was inundated with comments questioning the bird’s location.

A nurse from Darwin, Australia, became friends with George a few days ago.

And she aptly named him after a Looney Tunes reference “I’ll call him George!”

She said: “After I took the photo, he came up to my foot.

“He wrestled with a seed head from a grass bush, then took it and flew away with his prize.

“George and I have only known each other for a few days, but I’m a friend of the family.”

But the photos of the finch sent social media users crazy as they tried to find Yolanda’s feathered friend among the rocks.

Confusing photos show an apparently normal outdoor scene, but a camouflaged finch is hiding in plain sight.
