You need a sharp eye to spot the secret hidden in this image of a goldfish.
While it may be obvious that this fish isn’t underwater, that’s not the only suspicious part of the image.

The fish is part of a famous series by the artist Johannes Stötter
If you look closely, the fish in this image is not quite what you think.
The exotic looking animal is actually a model covered in colorful body paint.
The illusion is part of a series by Italian artist Johannes Stötter, known for his ability to transform people into any animal with his painting skills.
A YouTube video on the illusionist’s page shows the exact position the model is in to create the image of the fish.
If you are having difficulty identifying the man in the costume, look at the image from the side.
The model sits with her knees drawn up to her chest and her left arm around her head.
A fish eye is painted on the side of his hand to create the illusion of a face.
Other illusions by Johannes include images of a wolf, a turtle, an owl, and a butterfly.
The artist also created an image of a parrot using a brightly colored pattern.
But it was Johannes’s iconic frog illusion that made the artist famous.
