The image shows a beautiful landscape in a national park in Africa.
The photograph was taken by photographer Mark Drysdale while driving through the Serengeti in Tanzania.
Drysdale, from Johannesburg, South Africa, said: “Because the area is relatively flat, most lion prides will choose a rocky ledge to watch the passing herds of wildebeest and zebra.
“The pride of lions stretches out on the rock, sleeping in the shade from the heat of the day.
“It’s good to find predators on the vast plains.”
