Young and the Restless Stars Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian Set for Bold and the Beautiful Crossover

Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian trade the stormy weather of Genoa for the endless sunshine of Los Angeles.

The Young and restless actors will appear on Brave and beautiful for the crossover in August. Bell will reprise his role as Cricket, and Danny will reprise his role as Danny in two episodes Entertainment Weekly. According to the synopsis, “Danny and Christine [Cricket] are invited to the Forrester estate for a party celebrating the success of the relaunch of Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) fashion line ‘Brooke’s Bedroom’…or so they think.”

“Little does Danny and Christine know, Brooke and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) have invited them to start a new business venture,” the synopsis continues. “Not to be outdone, Danny decides to put on a surprise performance of his own to share with the partygoers.”

In an interview with Us Weekly — who first broke the news — Bell expressed his excitement for the upcoming crossover.

“We’re all so excited,” Bell, 55, told the news outlet. “What we’re doing is so authentic to the story.”

The actress also explained that the idea came from her brother Bradley Bell, executive producer and head writer Brave and beautiful, adding that “he saw that we were working on something Y&R and he thought this would be great for B&B.”

The crossover also makes sense given that the character Danny, a musician, is “going to have a concert in LA.” Bell also hinted that viewers will see Cvrček dressed as a “very rock star girl.”

Cricket and Danny’s first reunion Young and restless in November 2023 has been a longtime dream of many viewers, Bell previously told PEOPLE.

“We have fans who have been saying in the last few weeks, I’ve been waiting 30 years for Cricket and Danny to get back together. Waited 30 years!” she says.

Bell, who also celebrated 40 years on the soap in November, also told PEOPLE that the four decades have “gone by in the blink of an eye.”

“When I started, I was a child to them, and now, to be able to talk to everyone in a grown-up relationship, knowing their kids and watching our kids grow up, it’s so special,” she says. “I’ve spent 40 years with some of these people and I’ve loved every minute of it.”
