Young Sheldon Actress Raegan Revord to Publish First Young Adult Novel (Exclusive)

Raegan Revord has long been a big reader, and now she is about to become an author herself. Young Sheldon actress, 16, announced Tuesday that she will publish her debut novel for adults, Rules for fake girls. The book is scheduled to be published in the fall of 2025 by Wednesday Books, a publishing house of The St. Martin’s Publishing Group.

Rules for fake girls follows Avery Blackwell who, after the death of her mother, attends her mother’s alma mater, Brighton College. While in Brighton, Avery meets Charlie, a girl who asks Avery to pretend to be her girlfriend and helps her complete a scavenger hunt that Avery’s mother left behind.

The actress currently plays Missy Cooper Young SheldonCBS spinoff predecessor to the film Big Bang Theory, whose final season premieres this month. He is also an active member of the literary community and calls himself an “avid reader”.

In 2022, she started her book club, Read with Raegan. The online community, which currently has more than 55k followers on Instagram, is a place for young adults to discuss books, listen to author interviews and connect with other readers.
