The series tells the story of high school freshman Peter Parker as he comes to terms with his superpowers, including the famous Spider-Man character that was left out of the live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe films starring Tom Holland. The most important thing is, your friendly neighborhood spiderman Including Norman and Harry Osborn, whose MCU counterparts have yet to be introduced. Despite this, the series omitted two of the series’ most important Spider-Man characters: Ned Leeds and Michelle Jones-Watson.

“We start in the Marvel Universe at the point where Civil War happens, the Sokovia Accords have been ratified, so it’s the present day, and then Peter comes to Midtown on his first day…and then something happens that I’m going to try Dancing around and then our branches disappear, it’s a very familiar world, but Peter doesn’t end up going to Midtown, it’s a world where he’s never met Ned, he’s never met MJ.”
