At first glance, the image appears to be a brightly colored butterfly resting on a yellow flower.

But when you look closely, something is wrong with the image.

And then you realize there’s a lot more to this photo than meets the eye.

Although it appears to be a peacock butterfly sitting on a pretty yellow flower, the photo is actually a full body nude model.

The model, whose only name is Laura, was transformed into a butterfly by body artist Johannes Stötter.

Stötter spent hours painstakingly painting the curves of the women to complete the masterpiece and create a stunning optical illusion.

Based in Northern Italy, Johannes, known as the “Master of the Unseen”, has spent years perfecting his technique.

He believed the work, simply titled “Butterfly”, to be his best work to date.

The images show Stötter painting the model in incredible detail while lying on top of a yellow flower.

With each brush stroke, he transformed her into a butterfly, slowly covering her body in dazzling colors.

And then he took the photo, leaving nothing visible except his face visible in the butterfly’s wings.

You have already seen it?

The model’s face is visible on the underside of the butterfly’s right wing.
