YouTuber Luke Goodwin has died at the age of 35.
On August 2, the British influencer — known for his YouTube channel I Will Not Be Defeated — passed away after a battle with cancer, his wife Beckey revealed in a video titled “A little update on our warrior.”
“This is the video I never wanted to make,” she shared. “He passed away peacefully, he was at home, me and mum and dad were with him. Luke is calm now, he’s not in any pain. All his companions, you’ve all been absolutely amazing, he’s kept his head straight through everything.”
“He was an amazing person, he showed me how to be strong even when you’re going through the hardest times, he was just amazing, an amazing dad, son and husband,” she added. “It’s still pretty raw at the moment but you have to keep a strong head. That’s what Luke would say.”

Jonnie Irwin died at the age of 50 from lung cancer: ‘He fought bravely’
In August 2022, Goodwin — from Grimsby, England — was diagnosed with stage 4 leiomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer that affects smooth muscle tissue and can form almost anywhere in the body.
Although the disease is treatable if caught early enough, Goodwin was told his case was terminal and he only had a year to live. However, he exceeded that life expectancy by undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy.
Goodwin has dedicated his social media platform to organizing charity events and raising money and awareness for others dealing with this disease. He was also transparent about the ups and downs of his own treatment journey.
Goodwin is survived by his parents, his wife Beckey and their two children, Taylor (5) and Scarlett (3).
