Sean William McLoughlin, better known as Jacksepticeye, is no stranger to trying new looks. Over the years, he has tried dozens of hairstyles, from haircuts to undercuts. Over the years he experimented with different styles and looks.
However, of all the hairstyles he’s had, the man bun seems to be his favorite and can be seen sporting it in his latest video and posts. Jacksepticeye doesn’t just love the look on himself, he encourages others to do the same. In 2017, he responded to a tweet by popular twitch streamer MoistCr1TiKaL by suggesting that MoistCr1TiKaL grow his hair out and wear it in a man bun or ponytail.

In April 2020, Jacksepticeye made a comeback post, posting several photos of himself wearing a denim jacket and pants and showing off a man bun. “Maybe he’s kidding and bringing this look back,” he captioned the photos, implying that he might go back to that hairstyle.
An1me Man, an anime YouTuber, asked if the two could be men, to which Jacksepticeye replied, “Absolutely!!!” Absolutely!!! In August 2020, Jack also complimented voice actor and twitch streamer Bryan Dechart when he showed off his man bun.
The YouTuber seemed pleased with Dechart’s hairstyle choice, as he also sported a man bun, and expressed his delight by writing: “Man bun pops!”
For charity, Jacksepticeye dyed his hair green
While Jacksepticeye enjoys the man bun, his fans seem to prefer his hair dyed green. His appearance became so popular among his fans that he was dubbed the “green PewDiePie” in memes.
While Jacksepticeye is primarily known for its gaming content, it also has many charity streams. Jacksepticeye hosted a #thankmas charity stream in December 2020, with a goal of raising $500,000.
If the goal is achieved, he promised to dye his hair green on the stream. He kept his promise after the stream raised half a million dollars in just 2 hours and 19 minutes. Jacksepticeye and his viewers raised over $4 million by the end of the stream.
In June 2019, he made a similar stream with the goal of raising $100,000 for charity. It also reached the target amount then and later regained its signature look.
