In 2012’s Armored Core: Verdict Day, Kitamura received one of her first honors as a sound designer after joining From Software in 2011. Her last known contribution was the music for Elden Ring from the previous year. She may or may not appear in the credits for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, according to From Software. As it releases on August 25th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, that information should be made public soon.
We stated in IGN’s review of Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon that “Armoured Core 6 feels like a fresh start for this storied franchise, one that has capitalized on the success and experience of From Software’s other titles, but is still faithful to the original vision of the series.”
For IGN, George Yang writes as a freelancer. He has been writing about the industry since 2019, and has contributed to Insider, Kotaku, NPR, and Variety, among other outlets.
