Zach Bryan's Girlfriend Shares Details of 'Traumatizing' Side-by-Side Crash: 'We Were Saying Goodbye to Each Other'

Zach Bryan and his girlfriend, Brianna LaPaglia, are recovering from a harrowing side-car crash over the weekend that left the country singer with a massive gash on his arm that required stitches.

LaPaglia, better known by her Barstool Sports personality, Brianna Chickenfry, revealed in a TikTok video posted on May 14 that the two were involved in a side-on collision over the weekend that caused their utility vehicle to roll over multiple times.

“I’m going to ramble on for a moment because I think I’m close to a mental breakdown, and I’ve been living in a bus for the last month, so it doesn’t help mentally, but everything is just as it’s fucking happening,” the host PlanBri Uncut podcast started video.

“Two nights ago Zach and I were in a traumatizing rear end accident. It flipped a few times, everything broke and thank God we were tied. But there was a lot of blood and we thought… .we were saying goodbye to each other.”

LaPaglia, 24, who also hosts Barstool’s BFFs podcast, shared that EMS arrived to treat the couple’s injuries, but that luckily, the two ended up being okay.

“They stitched him up. We said, ‘Oh my God, thank God, it’s like he didn’t hit an artery.’ It was a big wound, we were happy and alive,” she said.

The accident happened before the couple boarded a tour bus to Little Rock, Ark., where Bryan, 28, was scheduled to perform May 13 and 14 at Simmons Bank Arena.

Fans noticed the “Burn, Burn, Burn” singer was wearing a red armband during his performance in Arkansas on May 14.

Bryan also took to social media to express his gratitude to his girlfriend after the accident, posting a picture of LaPaglia on his story with a sweet message that read: “This lady carries the weight of everyone around her day by day through this month long tour, until of my degenerate ass making an album.”

Moving on, Bryan called LaPaglia his “muse,” adding, “I don’t understand how the hell you keep yourself together when the people around you can’t. Thank you forever and always no matter what.”

The singer then posted a screenshot of his sweet messages with his girlfriend, captioning the post: “People don’t know this lady like Ida, but she sends me day by day.
