Zahrah’s parents divorced in 2010, when she was six. Thereafter, she was raised by her mother. Zahra is the fourth generation of singers from her mother’s family and has studied Hindustani classical music since she was a child.
She spent her childhood in Mumbai, New Jersey, Canada and Dubai. She attended Jankidevi Public School, Mumbai and American Science School, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She first encountered acting at the age of 16, while spending her summer vacation in Mumbai. Zahra is an aspiring actress who started auditioning after taking acting classes.
