Making sure the center of the stone putter hits the ball takes a few tries, and the final challenge at the shrine requires near-perfect accuracy. Looting the last chest requires the player to bank shoot. The trick is not to hit it too hard so it doesn’t bounce off the stage, but that’s easier said than done.
#2 – BOTW Hardest Shrine: Myahm Agana
The Temple of Miam Agana can be irritating to both new and experienced Hyrule explorers. It’s located west of the village of Hartnor in the southeastern corner of Hyrule, and again utilizes the Nintendo Switch’s motion controls. This time instead of swinging a push stick, players need to guide a giant sphere through a maze.
The Shrine is a virtual ball maze puzzle that requires the player to use the console’s gyroscope to tilt a floating maze so that the spheres roll through so that Link can travel through it. There are a few chests along the way that can be looted, but the worst part about this temple is that if the orb falls, a new one will spawn at the beginning. Completing this challenge requires a very steady hand, as even a small twitch can send the sphere flying into the void.
#1 – BOTW Hardest Shrine: Mirro Shaz
Mirro Shaz Shrine is yet another miniature golf game, only this time players use the Sheikah Slate’s Stasis ability to launch the ball instead of controlling the putter. Located near Pico’s Pond near Woodland Stables at the bottom of Death Mountain, this challenge is by far the most annoying shrine, as it causes players to run out of weapons.
Link needs to fly a ball across a fenced-in pond and into a container, which can be accomplished by freezing the sphere and hitting it five times, but accuracy is the hardest part.
