Zendaya reunites with Tom Holland on the big screen, this time directed by Christopher Nolan.
The Dune and Challengers actress, 28, will join Nolan’s next film at Universal alongside Anne Hathaway, according to Deadline and Diversity. The film, which also stars Matt Damon, will be released in July 2026, media reported.
Plot details of the film are reportedly under wraps.
Holland, 28, and Zendaya, who confirmed their romantic relationship in 2021, have already teamed up for 2017. Spider-Man Homecomingin 2019 Spider-Man: Far From Home and in 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Zendaya and Hathaway, 41, previously worked together on a Bulgari commercial in 2022, while Hathaway and Nolan’s working relationship dates back to 2012. The Dark Knight Rises and in 2014 Interstellar.
Nolan’s next film will mark his follow-up to the 2023 blockbuster Oppenheimerwhich also included an appearance by Damon, 54.
Multiple outlets, including Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter and Diversityreported last month that Holland was in talks to star in the director’s next film alongside Damon. All three media have announced that Nolan’s next film will begin filming in early 2025.
On Good morning America last month, Holland said of the Nolan project: “I’m incredibly excited. And, obviously, honored, but that’s all I can say because, to be honest, that’s all I know.” The star also indicated that the new Spider-Man the film will start shooting next year.

Earlier this year, Hathaway spoke with Vanity Fair for the cover story, when she detailed how Nolan, 54, helped her career during the Internet surveillance era of the 2010s. After she won the Oscar in 2012 poor people, Hathaway said many people “wouldn’t cast” her roles “because they were so concerned about how toxic my identity had become online.”
“I had an angel in Christopher Nolan who didn’t care about that and gave me one of the most beautiful roles I’ve had in one of the best films I’ve been in,” she said of Nolan and Interstellar.
“I don’t know if he knew at the time that he was supporting me, but it had that effect,” she added. “And my career didn’t lose the momentum it could have had he not supported me.”
