Zoë Kravitz Posts Adorable Snapshot with Channing Tatum to Celebrate Upcoming Movie, Blink Twice

Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz give fans a peek into their playful dynamic

On Friday, Kravitz (35) posted a series of photos from the set on Instagram Blink twiceher upcoming thriller starring Tatum, 43, which marks her directorial debut

Among the photos Kravitz uploaded was one of the pair posing together, a picture with Kravitz sticking her tongue out and Tatum rocking an open top to reveal her bare chest.

The image, apparently taken on a Polaroid camera, was paired with the caption, “#FLASHING TWICE in theaters August 23rd 🌴.” Other pictures of Kravitz on set and sitting in front of her director’s trailer are featured on the Instagram carousel, which comes seven months before her new film officially hits theaters.

This isn’t the first behind-the-scenes look at the film that fans have gotten, either, as Tatum also uploaded his own black-and-white footage of Kravitz directing co-stars Naomi Ackie and Alia Shawkat on Friday. He also included a clip of him and Kravitz looking at a monitor during filming.

“MISS DIRECTOR HERSELF IN ACTION!! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING,” Tatum captioned a post this week. “I CAN’T WAIT FOR YALL TO SEE.”

Multiple sources later confirmed to PEOPLE in October 2023 that the couple was engaged after Kravitz was spotted leaving a Halloween party wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.

“When Zoë called me about this, I was shocked. I didn’t know her,” Tatum told Deadline in June 2021 when he was cast. “I saw her in movies, I knew she was a producer High fidelity and I saw that, but I didn’t know she was creating at this level, where she wanted to direct.”

“This came out of nowhere and the topic made me say, wait, why are you thinking about me for this?”

Geena Davis, Simon Rex, Haley Joel Osment, Adria Arjona, Christian Slater and Kyle MacLachla will also appear in the film, in which Tatum plays a billionaire who invites friends to a mysterious island.

As for the couple’s relationship outside of the film, Kravitz revealed in GQIn the 2022 edition of Men of the Year, Tatum “makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and exploring why we do what we do.”

“We like to watch film and take it apart and talk about it and challenge each other,” she said.
