There are a lot of obscene comedies that revolve around a group of male characters. So in 2011 bridesmaids Launched and it broke the mold.
The film centers on Annie, played by Kristen Wiig, who begins to reevaluate her life after being asked to be the bridesmaid for her best friend Lillian, played by Maya Rudolph. The film also stars Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Ellie Kemper and Wendy McClendon-Covey.
Totally R-rated, there are some scary moments and lots of fun as the girls band together to help their friend choose her wedding dress, plan her wedding, and throw a bachelorette party.

Annie is happy for her friends, but also sad for her own life. The woman in her 30s used to own her own bakery but had to close it due to economic difficulties. Then her boyfriend left her, she lost all her savings and had to find a job as a salesman in a jewelry store and live with her sister and a British immigrant.
In this meme, she hallucinated on a plane to Las Vegas due to a sedative combined with alcohol, and kept saying the dumbest things. Because of her financial situation and unwillingness to accept Helen’s plane ticket payment, she flies economy class and other girls fly first class, she definitely took advantage!

Rose Byrne plays Helen, the beautiful, haughty wife of the groom’s master who is invited to be a bridesmaid. Anne naturally dislikes her and is jealous of Helen’s proximity to her best friend.
Helen is really nice, but because of her beauty, status, and wealth, everything she says is interpreted as arrogant. So while she might really empathize with something, it’s hard for Annie to believe she’s a sincere person and thinks she’s just being condescending.
You beep?
This meme shows Annie at the height of her altered state on an airplane, where she’s having a fake conversation with someone by pretending to be particularly interested in what someone has to say.
This is one of the most memorable scenes in the movie, as Annie continues to embarrass herself and all her friends. To be fair, she hallucinated from taking sedatives and alcohol to help her cope with her fear of flying. But in the end, she forced the plane to make an emergency landing.
Wendi McLendon-Covey stars as Rita, Lillian’s cousin, a mother of three desperate to escape from her own life. That quote perfectly describes what every mom goes through: Buying a flashy dress in the hopes that one day you’ll actually go somewhere unmarried and wear it.
Of all the girls, she wants and needs this party time the most. She desperately wanted to tear down the tube top and ended up cutting out the sales tag!

If you’ve seen the movie, you know exactly what this quote is all about. While trying on dresses, the entire wedding party, except Helen, got food poisoning, started vomiting and had severe diarrhea. Desperate to get it out, they run around like chickens, trying to find a place to escape.
In one of the film’s most memorable scenes, the groom’s sister, Megan (Melissa McCarthy), runs to the first place she can find — a sink — and leaves. her description? It flowed from her like lava. OH!
Ready for the party!
A hallucinogenic cocktail of tranquilizers and alcohol designed to help her overcome her fear of flying, Anne arrives in first class to visit her prepared and nurtured friend. In another memorable scene from the film, she talks about how ready she is for the party.
It was clear that her words covered her insecurities about life, talking about drugs and alcohol. But as you get ready for the party, you’re probably just as ecstatic as she is right now.
Oscar nodded
Look, we shouldn’t deny the possibility of actors having diverse and interesting careers. Every A-list actor has at some point in their life played a role they’re not proud of. However, McCarthy seems to really enjoy playing the rude, unfiltered woman.
However, given the despicable behavior she did in this movie, it’s hard to reconcile the role with the fact that the actor received an Oscar nomination… for the role! She has come a long way and has shown her vast range as an actress. McCarthy deserves an Oscar, but it’s hard to believe the role was supposed to be.

In this hilarious scene, McCarthy tries to seduce a man on a plane (played by her real-life husband, Ben Falcone) who she’s sure is the Air Force Sheriff.
Of course, there’s nothing more appealing than how she tries to get him interested in her, including treating her bottom as her underside and discussing the heat radiating from it. McCarthy plays the odd groom’s older sister, who just flips through the festivities, unlike all the other girls.
what did we do?
Who hasn’t woken up after a night of partying or a weekend out thinking “OMG, what did I just do?” Maybe your behavior isn’t completely insane, it’s just related to drinking too much and embarrassing yourself. Maybe they went even further and reached epic heights like you see in The Hangover (think face and tiger tattoos.)
Despite that, the film’s two main actors, Kristen Wiig and Rose Byrne, and the meme of the former topless in the car say it all.
