Schools PM Shri: Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister today inaugurated the Vidya Samiksha Kendra in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Pradhan laid the foundation stone for three Netaji Subhas Chandra residential schools and 141 PM-Shri schools in the state along with CM Pushkar Sign Dhami.
Pradhan claims that the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra is a modern technology and data driven methodology that will significantly improve the academic performance of 23.50 lakh school children in Uttarakhand.
He mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as he was the one who established the Vidya Samiksha Kendra in the state of Gujarati. The Gujarat model of education will be implemented in Uttarakhand with the opening of the Kendra.
According to him, “Uttarakhand is the second state after Gujarat to inaugurate Vidya Samiksha Kendra which provides online details of all schools in the state with one click.”
A total of 141 PM Shri schools in the state serve as role models for other schools to follow in order to excel. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential School will serve underprivileged children.
360-degree school education data will be available on the new portal
“Apart from performance data, attendance etc., DIKSHA portal content and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) data, 360-degree information on school education of the state will be available on the portal,” Pradhan added.
NEP 2020 – The way to improve
Pradhan thanked the State Education Department for helping to implement the NEP 2020 and achieving the goal of Prime Minister Modi. He added that Prime Minister Modi projected NEP 2020 as a global example and was praised by member countries and international organizations when the successful conclusion of India’s G20 summit was discussed. NEP 2020 would help not only the 30 billion Indian children but also all students across the world by providing them with a standard.
