7 Amazon Fashion Finds I Wore on Vacation That Didn’t Take Up Too Much Space in My Suitcase — Starting at $14

Packing for vacation can be a chore, especially if you’re only carrying a carry-on suitcase and a small duffel bag — which is all I had with me for my 18-day trip last summer.

Along with my passport and adapters, cute and comfortable clothes were a high priority on my European packing list. My destination was extremely hot, so light and airy styles were a must. And since I love a good midi skirt, I ordered this one in golden satin. The material was super soft and light, making it the first thing I reached for when we arrived. With some strategic packing (I laid the skirt flat as the last layer in the suitcase), it didn’t wrinkle too much.

I also took out my JW Pei bag on the trip, the bag worn by Selena Gomez. It is surprisingly roomy considering its small silhouette. It was also easy to pack — since the handle is structured, I could easily stuff my socks in between it.

I never traveled without my favorite linen shorts, which have been in my closet for two summers. I wore them when the temperatures were lower than ideal, and they were also great for traveling by ferry to the islands. The shorts have a relaxed fit and a 5 inch inseam, so they’re never too short or uncomfortable.

I’m a big fan of halter tops and square necklines, and this top from The Drop has both. Although it has a more cropped silhouette, it was perfect to wear with my high-waisted linen pants for a cute and comfortable look for sightseeing. I also have it in black.

Some of my other must-haves include this linen cut-out midi dress which was perfect to pair with these white sandals which worked surprisingly well on my feet when walking short distances.
