Adam Levine Hypes Up Wife Behati Prinsloo on Victoria's Secret Runway: 'Your Grace and Power Is Astounding'

Adam Levine is the ultimate hype man.

Following Behati Prinsloo’s return to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Tuesday, October 15, the Maroon 5 frontman praised his model wife’s performance. In an Instagram post on Wednesday, October 16, Levine, 45, shared several photos of Prinsloo, 36, on the catwalk.

“The strongest, baddest, sexiest, most dynamic woman I’ve ever met,” the musician wrote alongside the photos. “Your grace and power are amazing. I love you more than words can describe. Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🔥❤️👑🔥❤️👑🔥❤️👑🔥❤️👑

Levine and Prinsloo, who met in 2012 and married in 2014, have three children together.

Prinsloo’s appearance at the New York event marked her 11th show with the brand. She walked the catwalk in a black velvet slip dress with silver star details and a thigh-high slit. The model’s shoes were also decorated with stars, a pair of heels with straps that wrapped around the calf.

From 2007 to 2018, Prinsloo walked in a total of 10 Victoria’s Secret fashion shows. The longtime Angel wore a variety of combinations from golden angel wings to low-waisted sweatpants.

In July, the model was coy about revealing whether she would be returning to the VS runway. “We’ll see,” she teased during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE.

“Honestly, I’ve always had a lot of fun at those shows,” Prinsloo continued. “I have very fond memories of it all. And the show was a highlight, I think, for anyone and everyone who watched as well. It was so much fun.”

The model also said that Victoria’s Secret’s rebranding plan was “exciting”.

“I was so curious to know how they were going to bring the show back, keep it authentic to VS but make it fresh and new and different and inclusive and all those things,” she said of the show’s return to the runway.

Nearly 25 years after its debut in 1995, Victoria’s Secret canceled its annual 2019 fashion show amid backlash that it lacked diversity. In 2023, the brand transformed the show into The Tour — a live show featuring stars like Gigi Hadid, Naomi Campbell and Adriana Lima. However, many fans missed out on the full runway experience.

“I think a lot of people want to [the runway] back and they also want it to be different,” Prinsloo told PEOPLE. “They want elements that they’re missing from previous years, but also to keep that in 2024.”

In May, Victoria’s Secret officially announced that the Fashion Show would return, promising more inclusivity. Prinsloo was joined on the runway by fellow VS veterans like Gigi Hadid and Tyra Banks, as well as newcomers like Ashley Graham, who made her debut.
