Although the dust has settled a bit since Dave Grohl’s revelation last month, his marriage to Jordyn Blum is still “not in good shape.”
It’s been five weeks since the Foo Fighters frontman, 55, announced he fathered a child outside of their 21-year marriage, and Blum, 48, still isn’t wearing a wedding ring, a source tells PEOPLE. Grohl was also spotted without his band.
Although Blum has “calmed down” since the “first shock” of the scandal, the longtime couple is not in a good place, according to the source.
“Their marriage is still not in the best shape,” the source says, adding that “she’s not happy with Dave.”

“Jordyn is focused on her girls, their education and extracurricular activities,” adds the source of the interior designer, who shares three daughters with Grohl: Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.
And, although the “Everlong” singer hired a divorce attorney before announcing that he fathered a child with another woman — whom he did not publicly identify — the source is unsure whether or not he and Blum will end up filing.

A representative for Grohl declined to comment, and Blum did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Earlier this month, a source told PEOPLE that Blum “no longer trusts” the rocker.
“It was hard for her. She wasn’t thinking about her marriage though,” the source said, adding that she “doesn’t trust Dave” right now.
Instead, the former model is “focused on her own life and her girlfriends” and “leaning on the girl group,” the source added. “She is happy to be surrounded by love and support.”

Shortly after the “My Hero” singer first went public with the news of his infidelity in September, a source revealed that Blum had known about the baby “for a while” — and was “shocked” when she first found out.
“She was shocked when she found out about the baby. Her friends are like family and they rallied around her,” a source close to Blum told PEOPLE, adding that over the years, “Dave’s flirtatious behavior has been a stumbling block in their marriage.”
“It was hurtful for Jordyn,” the source added.

Grohl first announced that he had welcomed a “new daughter, born out of wedlock” in a statement posted on Instagram on September 10.
“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children and am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” he wrote. “We are grateful for your consideration for all the children involved, as we move forward together.”
