After five seasons of watching Midge strive for stardom, in the finale, she finally took on the stardom she’d always wanted to be. Good place
While the show was a bit grueling at times, the finale gave every indication that the writers knew exactly what to expect from the start. Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason’s last outing saw them finally enjoy the afterlife in a good place, before they all decided to move on and rest in peace. The touching surprise ending made this comedy the all-time great.
