90 Day: Brandan and Mary Talk ‘Unique’ Baby Name, Cast Slams Sarper’s ‘Control’ and Jenny Gets the Ultimate Insult

The 90 Day Fiancé: Another way couples (plus a lot of lesser-known faces) came together when the first episode of Season 5’s Tell-All aired on Monday when.

Former cast members such as Tim Malcolm, Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh, Kalani Faagata, Andrei Castravet and Tania Maduro appeared as former students with “couple connections”, and in season 5 the duo Julio and Kirsten — who did not appear on the show since August — also appeared to update viewers on their long-distance love story.

It all started in typical all-out fashion, with jaded couples meeting face-to-face, live and virtually, to reveal their current relationship issues and statuses. Here’s what each couple discovered on their first night—and what it means for their relationship going forward.

Brandon and Mary

Brandan and Mary shared the good news on Tell All.

Although Brandan is an American citizen, he wasn’t present at the shoot in New York because the couple just had a baby! Brandan and Mary’s bundle of joy is here and they seemed thrilled to share the good news.

They had a daughter named Midnight, which Brandan called “a unique name.”

Daniel and Yohan

It’s really over for Daniele and Yohan. The pair have confirmed they are still separated since their blowout, Christmas break seen on the show. Daniele also threatened that she came to tell everything with confirmations about Yohan’s misdeeds.

Kimberly and TJ

Kimberly visited America alone to film 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way say all.

For married couple Kimberly and TJ, everything has never been nice and pretty. They were still going strong on set – but not without their share of fights. “No one told me how much marriage is shit, and it is,” Kimberly said in an interview. “Life with TJ’s family is exactly what you would expect. I don’t think they care to understand my perspective.”

Nothing has changed in their life situation. She still shared space on the top floor of TJ’s family home in India. Kimberly also shared that TJ took out a seven-year loan to renovate the space, which she only recently found out about. “I thought I should have been informed about it,” she said, adding that she “still has no idea” how much the loan was offering. TJ then revealed that it was about $12,000.

“In his tradition, he vows to update me on real estate and financial decisions only after the wedding,” Kimberly said.

Jenny and Sumit then joined by video conference to talk with Kimberly and TJ about their own transition to life in India. Jenny had harsh words for Kimberly, who failed to fully adapt to the cultural tradition. “First of all, it seemed to me that Kimberly didn’t appreciate everything. What she got was incredible to me, and she didn’t — she didn’t appreciate anything,” Jenny said. “Her line, ‘I hate India’ — broke my heart.”

When Jenny encouraged Kimberly to “respect India or don’t be here,” Kimberly replied, “I don’t want to, honey.” As Kimberly laughed off the conversation, Jenny tried to have the last word. “You have a lot of rights, you spoiled little brat is what you are.”

Kimberly broke up the argument by calling Jenny a “c—.” (Later in the episode, Kenny asked Kimberly in confidence if she regretted her choice of word, saying “should,” but Kimberly had “zero remorse.”)

Echoing the recent screaming match between Kimberly and TJ, he thought about Kimberly before they got married. “I’ve never seen that tension, that aggression and that voice before,” he said. “It was new for me too.” Kimberly also addressed another fight where she told TJ, “He had to take off his mom’s tit.”

Holly and Wayne

Holly is really back in America. As of the recording of the story, four months have passed since Holly left her husband in South Africa.

“It wasn’t fun, that’s for sure,” Wayne said as he made a virtual appearance. “And yes, we lost touch a bit. It was a little weird.”

Julio and Kirsten

Julio accused Kirsten of cheating on him on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way tell all.

After Julio and Kirsten broke up earlier this season when Julio decided he couldn’t leave America, the couple was no closer to reconciling. Although the breakup was difficult, Kirsten said she no longer harbors “hatred feelings” towards her ex and that it’s “okay” to see him virtually.

Julio finally revealed that “trust issues” were behind his decision to end his relationship with Kirsten. He stated for the first time that Kirsten was cheating on him. “I have a good friend that I texted and you didn’t like it,” she said.

“When I was living there in Holland, Kirsten ended up going dress shopping for this event we had to attend. And in the center of those photos, I see a photo of a man and I wonder, who is this? She’s like, Oh no, it’s just a friend,” she said.

“When I asked her to show me the conversations and you know, they said, ‘Oh, I can’t wait to meet your family, I can’t wait to see you.’ They call each other like, you know, ‘Mom’ and ‘Dad’. I’m like, This is extensive. The feelings are there.”

Kirsten cried, saying, “He’s literally a friend. And now you’re bringing it up as an excuse because you’re trying to save yourself?

The episode ended on a cliffhanger – when Julio pulled out an audio recording of Kirsten, which he allegedly used to prove her infidelity.

Shekinah and Sarper

Shekinah and Sarper appear in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’s Say All.

Shekinah returned to the US solo – but only for recording purposes. She was still living in Turkey with Sarper and called it “the best relationship I’ve ever been in.” They also revealed that Shekinah required Sarper to take an STD test early in their relationship, knowing he had been with about 2,500 women. (And for the Shekinah, that was typical kindness in any relationship.)

The conversation turned to Sarper’s body type rules, which he used to weigh his American girlfriend. He said it’s not a current habit because he’s “in good shape right now.” He added: “I’m a control freak. I want him to eat what I want.”

Shekinah added, “And he’s excited to have someone who is submissive.”

While they were separated, Sarper and Shekinah communicated by voice recording. On the morning when everything was announced, Shekinah said her boyfriend told her “how to act today, how to look, you know, what to eat.”

Although the rest of the cast rolled their eyes and worried about Sarper’s strict partnership, Shekinah called him “loving and lovely.” She played a voice recording from Sarper as an example: “Hello [darling] don’t use dark lipstick today and don’t contour your lips. It makes your lips look bigger. Sit up straight. Wah. Don’t eat too many carbohydrates for lunch today. And if they give you any option, show it to me. Send it to me. I will choose for you.”

Shekinah insisted, “It’s all good advice, but it’s reasonable.”

Kenny disagreed, saying, “It almost feels like manipulation.” The Shekinah replied, “I look to him as my leader and he leads us.”

Sarper replied: “I know she likes to be controlled. That’s her character, and mine is controlling. So we’re a perfect match.”

Daniele added her two cents. “It sounds like you’re dealing with two people who have, like, really heavy, like, toxic traits and they’ve decided to love each other because they both accept the other’s toxic traits.”

Shekinah also denied that Sarper expected her to be “perfect.” But another voice spoke from the screen, “He seems to be nurturing you.”

The notice also revealed that Shekinah is no longer on speaking terms with her sister Shariyah after the “argument”. The sister refused to appear on the show, but sent a video message to let it go. “I don’t think Sarper is a good partner for you because I haven’t seen anything from him that would make me think he’s an honest person,” she said. “He has no respect for you. No respect for women. That’s not the person you want in your life.”

She also addressed Sarper briefly, telling him: “I feel that you will not be able to process anything I could tell you because you have not yet developed mentally.”

Shekinah informed viewers of her connection to the entire family. “Yes, my relationship with her is over. My family is so negative. I couldn’t be more unwelcome. And I don’t really even talk to any of my family since the show.” While others expressed concern about Shekinah’s isolation, she added, “It sucks that my family isn’t really in my life right now, you know.”
