90 Day: Brandan and Mary’s ‘Chaotic’ Fights Make Their Home a ‘War Zone,’ Plus Holly and Wayne Explore Bondage

Several 90 Day Fiancé: Another way the couples hit on big moments in Monday night’s episode.

Relationships hung in the balance as one couple walked down the aisle to tie the knot and the other contemplated a separate future if they couldn’t agree on how to split the household chores. And it wouldn’t be a TLC show without the fierce and unhelpful opinions of the family!

From sleeping on a bench in the town square to exploring intimacy in the bedroom for the first time, here’s what couples have been up to this week.

Kimberly and TJ

Kimberly wasn’t feeling great physically on her first wedding day, but her bond with TJ seemed stronger than ever.

Kimberly and TJ’s wedding has officially begun!

On Monday, the first part of their extravagant Indian wedding was shown. But it wasn’t bridal bliss for Kimberly, who woke up with an upset stomach and literally “p– my pants” before arriving at her mehndi ceremony. Of course she had trouble keeping a smile on her face – and of course some family members couldn’t resist pointing out her not-so-joyful expression.

“Right now I don’t want to be a bitch of a bride and I really appreciate these rituals that we do, but I don’t feel good, my stomach is still upset and I feel so alone,” she said in the interview. “This is not the feeling I thought I’d have on my wedding day.”

TJ and Kimberly showed off their dance moves during one night of their wedding.

Things picked up later in the episode, with Kimberly even trying out some dance moves on stage with TJ as their family and friends performed for them. Even though Kimberly wasn’t very quick on her feet, that didn’t change TJ’s opinion of her. “I will say she’s a little clumsy, but she enjoys her moves, which are really clumsy moves. I would say it’s really never in the vocabulary of dance.”

Another thing that didn’t change his mind – Kimberly refused to sit on his mother’s lap, which is a tradition at Indian weddings.

Mary and Brandon

90 Day Fiancé in a different way

Brandan resorted to sleeping on a stone bench in the town square after repeated arguments with his pregnant girlfriend Mary.

TLC

Mary and Brandan’s relationship is going downhill – and fast. Monday’s episode featured more heated arguments between the parents-to-be, prompting Brandan to flee their home and seek refuge in the town square. “I just had to get away from that environment,” he said after the production crew found him. “I thought we were going to get married and have a family and all that stuff. Instead, Mary and I fight more and more.”

The constant bickering wasn’t just taking its toll on Brandan and Mary—the family’s reputation in town was falling, not just because of Mary’s out-of-wedlock pregnancy, but also because of the tense arguments that all the neighbors could hear. In an effort to save their relationship, Mary and Brandan talked to Mary’s grandfather about their fight. Instead of comfort, he served a bitter dose of reality.

“When I found out that Mary was pregnant before marriage, I was hurt,” he said (translated into English) in the interview. “But now she’s pregnant and they’re fighting. Chaotic!”

Marija’s grandfather didn’t say anything in his conversation with his grandson. “You’re pregnant and now he has a habit of leaving after you fight,” he said. “We are ashamed of our neighbors. We are talked about behind our backs. What will happen to your life if this continues? Your child?”

Brandan and Mary still hadn’t been able to stabilize, which made him wonder, “Would it be better if I just went back to America then?” Mary replied coldly, unexpectedly, “Maybe—because you can’t change your attitude.”

In a confessional interview, Mary revealed that she was serious about Brandan going home. “If Brandan doesn’t want to change and be a better person, like he’s man enough to be a father, maybe he should leave,” she said, “because I don’t want our child to suffer with all these problems.”

Holly and Wayne

90 Day Fiancé in a different way

Holly and Wayne waited for marriage for all the intimate moments, and Holly was happy with the result.

TLC

Last week, Holly and Wayne officially tied the knot, which meant their Jehovah’s Witness pact would not be intimate before the divorce. This week, viewers saw how Holly and Wayne were in the bedroom as the couple talked about their first wedding night. Wayne asked Holly if he was a “sex god” like she’d hoped, and the American laughed it off.

Although coy as she lay in her husband’s arms, Holly opened up about the intensity of their sexual relationship when she sat down for a confessional interview. “I feel like we have a closeness now that we didn’t have before,” she said. And she wasn’t disappointed – or intimidated – by Wayne’s moves and preferences in the bedroom, noting that her new husband was “quirky”. He likes slavery, he likes strange things. He’s not vanilla in the bedroom, so I was happy about that.”

Although things were going well in the bedroom, Holly began to worry about being alone in South Africa after her mother’s planned return to the US. With Wayne working, and a recent home invasion in which one of Wayne’s dogs was killed, Holly began to stress.

“I don’t know how long it will take me to settle in,” she said. “I still don’t feel safe. It’s terrible for me.”

Daniel and Yohan

90 Day Fiancé in a different way

Daniele decides to speak only English during the tense car ride with his wife Yohan.

TLC

There was still a lot of turmoil surrounding Daniela and Yohan, most of it related to their finances. Yohan still insisted on moving to America – if not, he demanded that Daniele finance their life in the Dominican Republic.

Yohan was fixated on Daniele buying a nearby house to turn into a rental property, but Daniele thought $100 a month in income wasn’t enough for the tens of thousands of dollars she would have to shell out upfront. While Yohan thought it was time he had something to show for the money he and Daniele were spending, she accused him of wanting to “own something to own something” and put her foot down: “I’m not financing your flex.”

Daniele began to see red flags all around. “I never thought he had this in him. Not wanting to contribute — not wanting to be an equal partner, uniting me because I can’t have a child,” she said in an interview. “[If] if any of those individual things had ever happened to one of my friends, I would have said, ‘Fuck you.'”

To make her point, Daniele decided to stop speaking Spanish — the only language she and her husband have in common. The reason she gave to Yohan? “You don’t deserve anything from me.”
