90 Day’s Tim Blames Bad Breath for Hesitating to Lock Lips with His Date Who Admits ‘I Smell Like Beans’ (Exclusive)

As Tim’s girlfriend gets ready to make moves, he’s not quite sure if he wants to kiss.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive episode from Monday 90 day: single lifeTim finds himself in a precarious situation when his companion confesses that she is looking for some sugar.

During their romantic outing, the couple leans against the fence and looks out over the water. Smiling sweetly and looking into his eyes, Tim’s date begins, “I just want to be with you here because we haven’t had time to be together.”

Although she seems to be a woman who knows what she wants, his companion stops mid-sentence and gives a nervous smile before Tim interjects to ask if there’s anything in particular he wants to talk about.

“I don’t want to talk,” she hums. “I mean, it’s a beautiful night.”

Tim admits he doesn’t “get” the signals she’s sending and asks, “What are you trying to say?” She then replies: “I don’t want to say anything.”

As his date moves closer and closer, Tim notices the shrinking space between them and asks, “Are you forcing me to kiss you right now?”

He informs Tim not to “force” the petting, but then asks for a kiss. Tim tries to compromise by agreeing to a “little kiss” or “sample” of what’s to come, but his companion isn’t happy with the offer.

“I want to brush my teeth and stuff,” Tim admits to which she laughs, “I just smell like beans. It’s sexy!”

In a confessional interview, Tim gets candid about his lip-locked hesitancy with his girlfriend.

“In my mind, I think this is the perfect moment for a first kiss for everything, except for the fact that I just ate,” he explains. “It’s been a while. Like, is he going to think I’m a good kisser? I just have all this s— going through my head.”
