Brittany Mahomes rises above all the haters among her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut.
On Thursday, the 28-year-old — who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — made her SI debut as a rookie in 2024.
Posting one of the pictures from the shoot on her Instagram Story, Brittany shared a message with her 1.8 million followers: “I’m here to tell you that people won’t love you, people will love you.
“Don’t let any of that define you,” she continued.
“KEEP SHINING and being YOU,” Brittany concluded her message, adding a few star emojis.

Brittany will be featured in the magazine’s 60th anniversary issue, which will be released in May.
While the package hasn’t been officially announced yet, it’s likely to include the mom-of-two modeling the swimwear collection, just like the red Mugler cut-out one-piece she wore in one of the photos shared.
“Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen,” Brittany said SI To swim of her new performance, which was unveiled days before the Chiefs’ game against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on February 11.
“I’m so grateful and honored and so excited to be here with this team,” she said, adding that she “never in a million years” thought she’d get the chance to model for the publication.
“I want women to feel empowered to always be who they are, to love themselves and to feel confident in everything you do, and I think SI Swimsuit too,” Brittany continued.

According to MJ Day, SI To swimeditor-in-chief, Brittany is the perfect entry-level choice for the magazine’s 60th anniversary.

At Thursday’s NFL tribute, Randi Mahomes, mother of NFL star Patrick, shared exclusively with PEOPLE that she was “in awe” of Brittany after her SI Swimsuit debut has been revealed.
“I saw all the pictures. I’ve seen it all. I’m just in awe of her,” said 48-year-old Randi.
“She is so disciplined. I’ll eat with her and it’s like I’m ordering, you know… And she orders very well, and I say, ‘Girl, I want to do what you do,’ she added about her daughter – the mother-in-law diet.
