A Timeline of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Rumored Relationship

Taylor Swift has a “blank space” — and she might be writing Travis Kelce’s name.

Amid dating rumors, the “Shake It Off” singer was recently seen watching Kelce play football as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium.

The outburst came shortly after Kelce revealed that he had invited Swift to attend the game while appearing on the The Pat McAfee Show podcast, teasing that he “threw the ball in her yard” after seeing her perform at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras tour in July.

“I saw you rocking on stage at Arrowhead [Stadium]”, he recalled his conversation with Swift. “You might have to come see me rock the stage at Arrowhead and see which one is a little brighter.”

Despite Swift’s busy schedule (she’s gearing up for the re-release of her record-breaking album 1989), a source told PEOPLE was game for a fun night out. “Taylor is very focused on work and hanging out with her girlfriends right now,” the source said. “Travis asked her to the game and of course she said yes.”

Although the two have remained coy about their relationship status, Kelce has spoken about Swift in various interviews. Here’s the complete timeline of their rumored romance.

July 8, 2023: Travis Kelce attends Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

In July, sharp-eyed Swifties spotted Kelce on Swift’s Eras Tour at Arrowhead Stadium, where he plays football for the Kansas City Chiefs. The football star has been seen watching the show from his private box as well as exchange of friendship bracelets with fans inside the hall.

A few weeks after attending Swift’s Eras Tour concert, Kelce revealed that he actually tried — but failed — to meet Swift after the show.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs she sings,” Kelce said on his podcast. During ESPN Sports centerreporter Adam Schefter alluded to rumors of a relationship between Kelce and Swift while discussing the player with host Kevin Negandhi by playfully using Swift’s song titles.

“Clearly, Travis Kelce, at this point, is trying to shake it off and get back out there. He knows how much he’s needed and that he’s the Man.”

“It’s been a bit of a rough summer for Travis Kelce with that knee injury, but he can see the light of day, Kevin,” he continued. “Looks like he’s up for it. And Travis [Kelce] now he wants to play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, despite the fact that he was limited today.”

September 17, 2023: Travis Kelce pokes fun at NFL’s Taylor Swift comment

The jokes flowed as NFL Network’s Rich Eisen dropped numerous references to Swift while discussing the tight end ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs-Jacksonville Jaguars game.

A clip of the show was later shared in a joint Instagram post with Eisen and the NFL Network. Of course, Eisen followed up on Swift’s quip as he captioned the stream, “Look what you made me do, @killatrav.”

The Chiefs star was a good running joke as he playfully commented: “Well played Rich…. Well played 👏🏻😂.”

September 19, 2023: Travis Kelce talks about his deal breakers

During the episode Let’s be honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast, Kelce spoke briefly about his love life. Although he did not address Swift during the interview, he did mention some of his lovers.

“High maintenance, I’m out,” the NFL star said, adding that the person she dates must “be humble, down to earth.” It also helps if the potential lover is kind like his mother, Donna Kelce, he said.

“My mother is an absolute angel so I kind of rely on who I look up to based on how good and sweet my mother is,” he said. “You have to have some kind of sweetness about you.”

During look on DeCamara and Ritchie on Audacy’s SportsRadio 94 WIP, Kelce’s brother Jason was once again asked about the Swift relationship rumors. After previously being coy about the dating rumours, Jason said the report was “100% true”, leading the internet – and the hosts themselves – to think it was completely confirmed.

However, the audio from Jason’s interview shows him immediately saying that he was “joking” with the inside information about his brother’s rumored romance. “It’s hard to answer because I don’t really know much about Travis’ love life,” Jason told the radio hosts. “I try to keep his job as his job, stay out of that world.”

Swift confused Swifties and football fans alike when she made a surprise appearance at Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game on September 24th. The singer was spotted watching the game from Kelce’s suite with his mother, Donna, where she was later caught cheering on Kelce’s goal. contact.
