Abhimanyu Chaudhary was born on December 14, 1993 in Ambala Cantonment, Haryana, India. He has always dreamed of becoming an actor. His family was very supportive and helped him achieve his dream. In his first film Shamitabh, he got the opportunity to work with Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. His efforts paid off and he gained a huge reputation in a short period of time.

He started his career as a model and walked the ramp for leading fashion designer Manish Malhotra. He also modeled for Inega Models. He first came to prominence in 2015 in the Bollywood film Shamitabh, playing the role of a journalist, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush. Abhimanyu worked as an assistant editor on several films before making his debut.

In May 2019, he was arrested for assaulting a salon worker. The incident reportedly occurred when one of his friends who accompanied him to the salon complained that the staff member touched her inappropriately.
