Abhinayashree or Abhiyana Sri is an Indian actress and choreographer who works primarily in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. She is known for her performance in Paisalo Paramatma (2006), for which she won the Nandi Award for Best Female Comedy.

Abhinayashree’s father Sathish Kumar was involved in a motorcycle accident on November 7, 1996, resulting in severe brain damage and died of a heart attack in 2007. Her mother Anuradha (original name Sulochana Devi) is a heroine of yesteryear, active mainly in the 1980s and 1990s, during which she appeared in many South Indian language films. She has a younger brother Kalicharan Kevin (born in 1991).

She made her acting debut at the age of 12, playing the role of Abhirami in the Tamil comedy film Friends (2001), alongside actors Vijay and Suriya.

In addition to being an actress, she is also a skilled choreographer. In May 2018, she founded the dance studio ADC ABI Dance Company. In 2021, she started the YouTube channel Anu & Abi Vlogs with her mother Anuradha. The channel features mother and daughter vlogs about their daily lives.
Facts/Trivia
- She revealed in an interview that the production team of her debut series Friends discovered her while she was playing in the street. Apparently, Abhinayashree’s house is located near the Friends studio. Recalling this incident, she said:
After knowing that I was the daughter of actress Anuradha, they came to my house and invited me to act in their film. Initially, my mother denied it citing my education, but I insisted on acting with Vijay and Surya. “
- Her performance in 2004’s Aa Ante Amalapuram earned her similar offers in the following years. In 2007, after starring in the Telugu film Aadivaram Adavallaku Selavu, Abhinayashree announced that she would not appear in any more series. However, she soon changed her decision as she believed that being labeled an “object girl” would not hamper her chances as an actress.
- She was an avid animal lover and had many pet birds. One of the birds is a double-yellow-headed Amazon parrot named Oscar. The other one is called Harry.
