Adam Lanza Age and early life
Adam was born on April 22, 1992 to parents of Italian descent. He was born in the United States in Kingston, New Hampshire. After birth, he could not communicate until he was three years old. He had a state of smelling things that weren’t there at all when he was in preschool and elementary school at Sandy Hook Elementary School. He was constantly washing his hands. The doctor then diagnosed him with sensory processing disorder.
Adam Lanza took speech therapy classes when he was a child. Adam’s mental state changed when he turned eleven. He stopped playing and even banned himself from celebrating his birthday. He suffered from panic attacks on several occasions. He attended Sandy Hook Elementary School until the eighth grade when he transferred to Newtown High School. Adam struggled at Newtown High School and transferred to Western Connecticut State University to get his degree.

He had his mother’s firearms, a Savage MK II-F .22 caliber rifle and a Bushmaster XM15-E2S rifle with him. He first entered the first-grade classroom, where Lauren Rousseau was a substitute teacher, after arriving with a firearm. Lauren and 14 other students were killed by Adam Lanza. Then he went to another classroom where the children were hiding. There he killed six students and teacher Victoria Soto.
Several staff members were wounded and several were killed in the incident. Adam took the lives of 26 people. The last fire was reported around 9:40 am on December 14, 2012.
