Aditya Narayan Jha is an Indian singer, music composer, television host and actor. He is the son of Bollywood singer Udit Narayan. He has sung songs in more than 16 different Indian languages.

He was educated at Utpal Shanghvi School in Mumbai and then went to Mitthibai Business College to pursue a degree in commerce. Thereafter, he studied for a Diploma in British Contemporary Music at the London Technical School of Music.

Since Aditya comes from a musical family, he became interested in music at a very young age. He sang a song on his 4th birthday and was discovered by Kalyanji Virji Shah who invited him to sing in a concert called “Little Wonders”. Narayan performed for the “Little Wonders” troupe at the Filmfare Awards (1995) and was discovered by producer and director Subhash Ghai, who signed him for his film “Pardes”. He also appeared as a child artist in the film Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai starring Salman Khan and Twinkle Khanna.
Aditya has performed on more than 100 songs as a child artiste and released an album titled ‘Aditya’. His most popular song is Chhota Baccha Jaan Ke from the 1996 movie Masoom. He won the Screen Award Critics’ Award for Best Child Singer and the Screen Award Special Jury Award for Best Child Singer for the song.

He dated Shweta from 2010 to 2020; they fell in love with each other in their debut film Shaapit (2010). Speaking about Shweta in an interview, Aditya said,
I met Shweta on the sets of Shaapit and we hit it off immediately. Slowly, I realized that I had fallen in love with her and started pursuing her. Initially, she wanted to be “just friends” because we were both young and needed to focus on our careers. As with all relationships, we’ve had a lot of ups and downs over the past decade. Marriage is just a formality between us now and hopefully it will take place in November or December as well. My parents knew Shweta and liked her very much. I’m so happy that I found my soul mate in her. ”

Aditya Narayan started his career as a television host in the reality singing show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa”. In 2009, he made his debut in Bollywood with the movie “Shaapit” and starred in it. Aditya has dubbed for 4 songs in the film and composed the lyrics and music for the film’s title song “Shaapit Hua”. He even insulted the IndiGo staff. However, he later apologized to ground staff and was given a boarding pass.
- On March 12, 2018, he was arrested by the Versova police for allegedly ramming his Mercedes Benz into an auto-rickshaw, injuring the driver and a female passenger. He was later released on bail.
- On February 11, 2024, he stirred controversy after throwing away someone’s mobile phone during an event at a college in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. He later offered no explanation and said he would answer only to God.
