Simone Biles should win a gold medal for home design!
On Saturday, October 26, the Olympian updated followers on the latest information regarding her major home renovation in Texas. Biles, 27, and her husband, Jonathan Owens, have been working on the home for more than a year, taking fans for a ride starting in September 2023.
“Informing you about my bye week from the tour,” the athlete wrote on her Instagram stories, referring to the time off during her GOAT tour.
“Obviously I had to check on the progress on the new house,” Biles added, sharing pictures of the pool, garage, kitchen and laundry room.

Biles and Owens’ inground pool overlooks the lake and already has a foundation in place. They are also working on a three-car garage on their property.
Inside the couple’s home, a beautiful black and white marble countertop and backsplash take over the kitchen with white cabinets.
Elsewhere, the laundromat has at least four machines with another black and white background.

Biles and Owens, 29, have been sharing updates on their home in progress for more than a year — including the setbacks they’ve faced.
Early updates included exposed beams and concrete foundations. In February, Biles showed off her enviable closet, complete with built-in drawers and compartments that make organization easy.
Geometric details such as wooden floors and black and white tiles have been in the house since May, along with sliding glass doors overlooking the water.
In August, after her performance at the Olympic Games in Paris, she announced that the “tiles are in” for their home and installed the facade.

Biles also noted in August’s Instagram Stories that she’s “so excited to make this house a HOME…for a few more months.”
