Adrien Brody Says Partner Georgina Chapman Gave Her Opinion on His 2025 Golden Globes Look: 'She Has Lovely Taste'

Adrien Brody and Georgina Chapman are celebrating success!

On Sunday, January 5, the couple had a glamorous moment on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes, where Brody, 51, was awarded Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for his role in Brutalistplaying Hungarian architect László Toth in the years after World War II.

The film also took home the award for the best film – drama.

For their black-tie date, Brody wore a black Thom Browne tailored suit with a knit trim along the lapel and an Elsa Jin abstract button down. Chapman opted for a sheer dress with black floral details and a dramatic train.

Brody said Diversity on the red carpet that Chapman, a top designer in the industry, will “definitely give me his opinion” on his red carpet looks.

“She has great taste,” he said, adding, “She’s definitely an ally.”

Brody and Chapman, who made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2021, recently stepped out together at the 2024 Gotham Independent Film Awards at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Chapman wore a strapless gown with a contrasting corset trimmed with intricate beading at the top. The floor-length dress had a bold, high split secured by a black lace lining.

Brody stood by her side in a black suit with a patterned lapel.

After the red carpet, the couple attended an after party held at the nearby Nine Orchard Hotel in Lower Manhattan.

That same week, PEOPLE caught up with Brody at the film’s Los Angeles premiere Brutalistwhere he referred to the “parallels” between the film and his own family.

“I am very familiar with immigrant struggles and how loss and past experiences have affected my mother and her work as an artist,” the Oscar winner told PEOPLE. “I feel like there are a lot of parallels associated with László that I can personally relate to.”

He added that his favorite part of the film was sharing it with his parents.

“My mom will say, ‘Your dad found another.’ And that would be a level of not just praise for my work, but a level of respect for the work, including my work, and an understanding and analysis of the work and the film that is quite astute, eloquent and thoughtful like no other. references or baggage combined,” Brody said.

The Pianist star and Chapman have been making the rounds on the red carpet recently — also appearing side-by-side at the film’s premiere Brutalist at the Venice Film Festival in September.

Brody looked classic again for the occasion in all black, wearing a suit and bow tie for the prestigious event. He added a pin with a flashy flower to the collar of the jacket.

As for his exit, Project Runway All Stars alum brought old-school Hollywood to Venice in a light blue, bejeweled, tailored gown with a mesh train. Her look also included a plunging neckline and silver embellishments that broke up the blue pattern.

Although the dress itself was sleeveless, a layer of jeweled mesh delicately draped over her arms.

While they both wore shades of black and white for the “Sleeping Beauty: Fashion Reawakening” theme, the actor ditched his darker hair for a lighter shade that complemented Chapman’s hair shade.
